Dr. Zaid Shareef, D.O.
Dr. Zaid Shareef is a board-certified Otolaryngologist - Head and Neck Surgeon who provides comprehensive care for both children and adults. He treats a wide range of ENT conditions and performs procedures such as ear tubes, tonsillectomies, septoplasty, sinus surgery, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, salivary gland procedures, vocal cord surgery, facial reconstruction for skin cancer defects, ear surgery, and sleep apnea surgery.
Originally from Metro Detroit, Dr. Shareef is excited to return home and provide care to patients in the community where he grew up. He earned his undergraduate degree at Michigan State University, graduating with high honors, and his medical degree at the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He went on to complete his residency training in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Henry Ford Warren Hospital.
Dr. Shareef has participated in multiple medical mission trips to Honduras, Peru, and Africa, where he provided care to underserved populations. He has also contributed to research published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national and regional academic meetings.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Shareef enjoys traveling, hiking, golfing, and is an avid hockey and football fan.
